iTero Scanner
An iTero scanner is a piece of equipment that lets dentists take detailed, digital images of the internal structure of your teeth and gums. Your dentist does this by scanning your mouth with a handheld wand. Often, and iTero scanner is used to assist with Invisalign treatment.
Velscope
This piece of technology uses fluorescent blue light to excite molecules in your oral tissues. This allows dentists to detect potential abnormalities in your mouth because they’re lit up and more visible. It’s also easy and convenient to use. A Velscope is particularly great when it comes to detecting signs of oral cancer.
